Internet Advertising Plan is Evolving | Tim Bossie.com

Internet Advertising Plan is Evolving

Internet advertising is alive.

What I mean by that is that it is always growing. It never really stops changing, evolving, becoming something different than it was previously. One of the biggest mistakes that I see people making is that they don’t change their online advertising but rather continue to do the same thing over and over.

I’m not saying that it’s not a good thing to continue doing the things that are working good for you. You know, if it’s not broke don’t fix it? But, I am saying that if you don’t ever add or implement anything new to your online advertising then you’re going to be left behind. This is the one concrete principle that I teach my clients and that I run by own advertising by.

With that in mind…

I’m going into a very aggressive internet advertising campaign for my entire business as a whole. My business consists of several areas that encompass the spectrum of advertising, copywriting, blogging, and affiliate marketing. I have been doing some individual marketing for each different website, blog, and service. However, I’m beginning to get a little more aggressive in the way I advertise my websites and will begin combining my advertising so that they all benefit. Of course this is going to be made a lot easier with the use of social media marketing.

Internet Advertising Plan In the Wild

As a way to let you know what I’m doing, but also help you with your own advertising campaigns I am going to give you a first hand look at what I’m going to be doing. Starting with the way I’m organizing my tasks to the exact plan and results.

It’s going to be a pretty incredible experience for both you and I, so I hope you stick around the check things out.

The best way to do that is to subscribe to the RSS feed so you are never left out of the loop.

  • because of web 2.0 social media marketing is now a hit on all affiliate marketers, taking advantages on social media sites will make advertising a lot more easier for us... specially twitter, facebook and social bookmarking sites..
  • Online is the new offline. Like most catch phrases this one doesn't really say anything earth-shattering; it isn’t really news that more and more things are going digital. What it does rather neatly encapsulate is that in implying the launch of a new dominant mode of operation, there are a host of implications, both online and offline, for lifestyles and business in general, and for the media industry in particular.

  • Hi Tim,

I'm glad to hear you talking about getting more aggressive in your advertising. I think a lot of us have been bilked into believing that aggressive ALWAYS means lowly and spammy. This just isn't true.

When I look at the people I look up to in online business I always see a common thread. They know how to combine their passion for helping others to succeed with creative promotion in a way that benefits everybody. They're not selling their souls to promote products they haven't used enough to know if they will benefit their followers.

I have great confidence in your abilities to pull this off with style and integrity.

Keep us posted on your progress. Your story will help us all.

    Best,

    Jeff
  • Thanks for linking to my interview with Roxanne.
I think one of my takeaways I always give people when talking about social media is that it's marketing, as opposed to advertising. Rather than talking "at an audience," you're speaking "with your market'--which is the very reason it's become successful!
