Article marketing as free advertising
There is a lot to be said about marketing your business with articles. And people have been saying it in many different ways. Even I recently talked about it comparing blog posts to articles. But, the one thing I think everyone can agree on is that article marketing is free advertising.
In fact, Angela Booth has written a post called Article Marketing – Free Advertising Forever for your Business and covers some great information about why articles are powerful for advertising. She also covers some very important points that I believe is crucial to understand.
Article Marketing is not just for today.
Angela notes in her post;
The articles you write however (or have written for you), keep on sending you sales as long as they’re online, and that’s more or less forever.
I can’t think of too many ways to advertise a website, for free, and have it be ongoing.
Article marketing is about more than the free advertising. It’s about the longevity of your campaign.
It’s important to realize that when you’re putting together your advertising campaign you should not just think about today. But think about what your articles will do for you in the future. At times, way into the future.
